I have always been quite intimidated by the standard size circular saw and many times it was unnecessary to use such a big one. So, with an upcoming project of needing to cut many 1x4's, 2x4's and some plywood, I decided to purchase this smaller saw. I was not disappointed! I was a little concerned it wouldn't cut the 2x4's all the way thru but it did with little effort. My hands aren't very big so it could be a little more narrow but it's definitely not a deal breaker. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase!
